AlphaPoint Technology began its journey as a provider and developer of a Patent Pending, Data Center Management Software, AssetCentral™. AssetCentral™ is a cutting-edge, easy-to-use, Web-based IT Asset Management (ITAM software) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM software) solution. It empowers IT professionals the ability to simplify data center operations, streamline processes, implement best practices, improve service delivery, mitigate risk, and help drive Green Data Center Initiatives.
AlphaPoint continued its growth and development of AssetCentral™ and was able to build a solid customer base, which included recognizable brands and organizations such as, The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), Monster.com, Dole Foods, LiveVox and Meredith Corporation, to mention a few, and was the only ITAM software solution to be included National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE), Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 2014/2015. AlphaPoint has worked with NCCoE in the Financial Services Sector IT Asset Management (ITAM) Use Case Consortium to propose and demonstrate an ITAM solution for finance sector companies to employ that will better utilize information assets and protect enterprise systems and data.
Although AlphaPoint no longer markets AssetCentral™, it still maintains full ownership of the intellectual property and is currently seeking licensing and ownership opportunities.
Strategy to Revenue (STR) was acquired by AlphaPoint in early 2015 and provides solutions designed to help sales organizations execute on their growth strategy. Delivered through a SaaS-based sales effectiveness platform designed to identify, assess, and develop the critical competencies for each sales role. They provide uniquely creative learning solutions and tools to enable first-line sales managers in their essential roles of leading, coaching, and driving maximum field performance.
STR’s existing clients are industry leading, FORTUNE 500 companies keen to realize efficient revenue growth. STR’s market focus is on FORTUNE 500 companies with a combination of direct and channel partner sales teams of greater than 500 and includes such company as HP, DHL, Samsung, CISCO, Thomson Reuters, and AMAG Pharmaceuticals.
